Refund policy
WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY
1. PRODUCT CONDITION DEFINITIONS
(a) N1 - Original Packaging, Surplus (i) Product is in original manufacturer packaging. (ii) Manufacturer seal is intact, if such seal was originally present. (iii) Includes all hardware and accessories as provided from the factory. (iv) Packaging is in excellent condition.
(b) N2 - Open Original Packaging, Surplus (i) Product is in opened original manufacturer packaging. (ii) Packaging may show signs of shelf wear.
(c) N3 - GSS Packaging, Surplus (i) Product may have been removed from original packaging. (ii) Product is repackaged in GSSurplus custom packaging. (iii) May not include manual(s) or other accessories normally supplied with new products. (iv) Product has not been put into service. (v) Product may be part of an older series or style.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD 2.1 The warranty period shall be ninety (90) days from the date of purchase.
3. NON-WARRANTY RETURN PERIOD 3.1 The non-warranty return period shall be thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of goods.
4. WARRANTY COVERAGE 4.1 Items are warranted to be free from defects in condition and functionality for the duration of the warranty period. 4.2 The warranty shall only apply to items that have been stored, installed, operated, handled, and used under normal conditions.
5. NON-WARRANTY RETURNS 5.1 Non-warranty returns will be accepted within the non-warranty return period. 5.2 Items must be returned in the condition in which they were purchased.
6. RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) PROCESS 6.1 For all returns or warranty claims, the customer shall email sales@gssurplus.com to obtain an RMA number. 6.2 An RMA number is required for the processing of all returns and warranty claims.
7. WARRANTY CLAIM SHIPPING 7.1 For valid warranty claims, GSSurplus shall provide a pre-paid shipping label to the customer.
8. REFUND AND REPLACEMENT POLICY 8.1 Upon receipt and inspection of returned goods, GSSurplus shall process the return based on the customer's stated preference for either a refund or a replacement item. 8.2 In the absence of a stated customer preference, GSSurplus shall default to providing a refund. 8.3 GSSurplus reserves the right to deny a replacement and issue a refund if a replacement item is unavailable or if GSSurplus deems a refund more appropriate under the circumstances. 8.4 A restocking fee shall apply for items not returned in the condition in which they were purchased. 8.5 The customer shall communicate their preference for a refund or replacement at the time of initiating the return process. Failure to do so may result in automatic processing of a refund.
9. LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS 9.1 This warranty and return policy is subject to all limitations and exclusions as permitted by applicable law.
10. SEVERABILITY 10.1 If any provision of this policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
